There will be six seats on the Executive Council that will become open this summer. The Nominating Committee is seeking members who are interested in serving. Nominations are due March 28 and the election is held on June 26. There are typically three or four meetings of the Council per year. Participation by telephone is not available and in person participation is requested. Excerpts from the Bylaws including qualifications for membership are below. The Florida Health Law Section is co-sponsoring with the American Bar Association Health Law Section the 14th Annual Conference on Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law to be held in Miami, Florida between February 20-23, 2013.  The American Bar Association has agreed to extend the discounted rate of $895 to members of the Health Law Section until February 3rd, 2013.
