Florida Bar Health Law Section
Website Discussion Group Rules
Welcome to the Florida Bar
Health Law Section Discussion Groups. We hope this feature of our
website is useful to you, whether you’re a member of our section or just
visiting our site.
Our discussion groups were
created to exchange ideas and increase knowledge in the legal healthcare
community. The discussion groups are provided as a free service
by the Health Law Section of The Florida Bar and are intended to be a forum
for sharing information among colleagues and not for soliciting business
or advertising.
A word about confidentiality
and use of information. First, THE GROUPS ARE NOT CONFIDENTIAL,
therefore you should guard against identifying clients or other entities
or individuals. Use private communications for confidential messages.
Second, the groups are not intended to provide legal advice. Those
seeking legal advice should consult with competent counsel.
The following list of rules
and regulations is provided to assist you in using our discussion groups.
-
Try to keep your messages brief;
lengthy messages will probably not receive much attention from other users.
-
Advertising and solicitation
are not permitted and those who do so will be
removed from the groups.
-
The discussion groups are intended
to be maintained in a manner consistent with United States copyright laws.
Users should not submit copyrighted material unless the copyright owner
has expressly granted written consent. Users submitting information
to discussion groups grant the Health Law Section the authority and right
to use any submission in any way.
- If there are group topics that we should add, please email us.
Again, welcome to our discussion
groups. We hope you find this feature of our site useful.
